Wall Panel ideas to assist you in designing rooms with the classical symmetry created by adding wall panels. Beaux-Arts Classic Products wall panels are designed to be easily installed. So this post is meant to provide lots of inspiration on some of the ways wall panels can be incorporated into the design of your home.
This is one of my favorite wall panel designs. The wall area outside the panels was faux finished to look like a silk fabric. Inside the panels was stenciled with a damask. The background of the damask is a gold metallic that compliments the finish on the Louis XIV architectural wall panels. This identifies nicely the areas created by adding wall panels. The wall area outside the panels, the wall area inside the panels and the architectural wall panels themselves. Because the wall panels are added to the wall you can easily choose a finish which is not the color of the walls. Many times you will see paneled rooms and the panel moulding is the same color as the wall. That is because it is very difficult to paint the moulding another color once it is installed on the wall.
You can never go wrong with white wall panels. These look lovely on the light gray wall. This picture demonstrates another decision with wall panels; the size of the panel. In this application they have the panels the full length of the wall. Wall panels are often used above a chair rail. Here they are using the height of the panel to organize the towels. Really great design.
All one color for the panels and ornament is most common.
This very large master bedroom has a nice variety of panel sizes. The wall panels are a lovely soft beige which makes them stand out from the walls although it is subtle.
