Recessed Chandelier Installation Instructions for Attaching Crystals
Install your decorative recessed light trim before attaching your crystals. Your recessed chandelier installation is much easier to do without all the beautiful crystals on it. We have instructions and a video on our website showing our Two Minute Makeover for installing our recessed light trims.
If you are using existing baffles, please check the springs which will be holding up your recessed chandelier. Two additional springs will be included for every chandelier, so please use them if they need to be replaced. Additional springs for the 2.5″ and 3″ tear drop and U-drop crystals are recommended.
With your Recessed Chandelier installed you are now ready to hang all your crystals.
The crystals attach to the headpins on your recessed chandelier. If your Recessed Chandelier was ordered with a chain, it will have been attached to one of the headpins for you. In order to avoid broken crystals, there will be another headpin for each of the crystals.
Put the crystal hook into the headpin. There is a front and back to the bowtie clasp. Make sure all your crystals are facing out so that you are looking at the front of the bowtie clasp.
Squeeze the hook down, locking the crystal into the headpin. Examine the crystal to make sure it is hanging straight. The headpin and crystal bowtie clasp are easy to bend and shape so that your crystals are hanging perfectly straight.
Recessed Chandelier RC-108 Installation Instructions
To install your recessed chandelier, remove the tape over one of the bowtie pins and open the pin so you can remove the crystals giving you a space to insert the baffle. Follow the instructions for installing our recessed medallions. You will be directed to place the baffle through the recessed light trim. Replace your bulb.
Once your recessed chandelier is installed you are ready to attach the bowtie pin to the eye pin on the medallion. When you need to change your light bulb you just take the bowtie out of the eye pin so you have enough room to remove the bulb and then attach it again. The eye pins can easily be re-positioned so that the chains hang perfectly.
